Rain Dog
Overview
Raindog is a 45ft Narrowboat built and fitted out by Ron Lloyd at Oxley Marine in 1996/97.
She is a Traditional styled Narrowboat with a large sliding rear hatch which allows a part conversion to semi-trad for social use with all the lockable security of a traditional stern end.
Under the deck boards is a BMC 1.8D and surecal calorifier. This generates hot water.
Moving into the vessel there is a fixed double bed in it's own cabin to the rear with storage over and under as well as a large cupboard.
Next is the Bathroom where there is a quadrant shower, wash basin and Mansfield Traveller Pump out toilet.
Moving in to the Galley there is a stainless sink and drainer with a 4 burner gas hob fitted to the worktop with storage under. The Thetford cooker and grill are conveniently at eye level with the fridge located below.
The solid fuel stove is located between the galley and the lounge. Useful to utilise for stove top stew pots or a kettle in the winter!
Also this position gives a line of sight along the corridor to the bedroom and a stove top fan will push the heat to warm the bedroom at night time.
The lounge is open plan with fixed seating on either side, this makes up to a secondary double berth if required.
The front doors open out to the well deck where there is forward seating.
